These Terms and Conditions set out the agreement between Next Day Plates Ltd and you as the customer.
By placing an order with us, you agree to all the terms that follow. Please read this document carefully before making a purchase. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our website or place an order.

2. Legal Requirements for Number Plates

2.1. UK law requires all number plate suppliers to check customer documents before producing plates.
2.2. You must provide valid proof of identity and valid proof of entitlement to the registration number.
2.3. Orders will not enter production until your documents have been verified and approved.
2.4. We reserve the right to decline any order where documents appear fraudulent or unclear.
2.5. If false documents are provided, we may report this to the DVLA or law enforcement.
2.6. It is your responsibility to ensure your entitlement to use the registration number.

3. Products

3.1. We supply a range of number plates including printed plates, 3D, 4D, gel layered plates, and show plates.
3.2. Legal road plates are produced to comply with DVLA and MOT standards which include BS AU 145e, approved fonts, spacing, reflective material, and correct supplier information.
3.3. Show plates are not legal for road use. If you choose a show plate style, you accept full responsibility for how the plates are used.
3.4. Product images on the website are for display purposes and minor variations may occur due to the production process, materials used, or screen display.

4. Ordering

4.1. When placing an order, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate.
4.2. You are responsible for checking that the registration number is correct.
4.3. Once production begins, you cannot make changes to the order.
4.4. Because number plates are personalised goods made to your specific registration number, orders cannot be cancelled once documents are approved.
4.5. If we are unable to verify your documents, your order may be cancelled and refunded.
4.6. We reserve the right to refuse service for safety, legal, fraud, or compliance reasons.

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1. All prices on our website are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
5.2. Payment must be made in full at checkout.
5.3. We accept various payment methods including card payments, digital wallets, and other services shown at checkout.
5.4. Prices may change at any time, however the price at the time of your order will apply.
5.5. If a pricing error occurs on the website, we may cancel the order and offer you the correct price before proceeding.

6. Production Times

6.1. We aim to produce plates the same working day if documents are approved before the cut off time shown on the website.
6.2. During busy periods or exceptional circumstances, production times may be longer.
6.3. Production times do not include weekends or public holidays.
6.4. We accept no responsibility for delays caused by incorrect, missing, or blurred documents.
6.5. Once production has started, the order cannot be altered or cancelled.

7. Delivery

7.1. We use trusted UK couriers including Royal Mail.
7.2. Delivery times shown on the website are estimates only and not guaranteed.
7.3. Once an order has been dispatched, responsibility for delivery passes to the courier.
7.4. Delays caused by the courier or external factors are outside our control.
7.5. If your order arrives damaged, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs of the packaging and plates.
7.6. If your parcel is lost, we will follow the courier's investigation process which may take several days.
7.7. We cannot resend or refund until the courier confirms the parcel is lost.

8. Returns and Refunds

8.1. Number plates are classed as personalised goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
8.2. Personalised goods are exempt from cancellation and returns once production has begun.
8.3. You cannot return plates because you changed your mind or entered the wrong registration number.
8.4. If you receive faulty or incorrectly produced plates due to an error on our part, we will replace them free of charge.
8.5. To report a fault, you must contact us within 48 hours of receiving the plates and provide images.
8.6. We do not accept returns for plates incorrectly installed, misused, or damaged after delivery.

9. Compliance and Legal Responsibility

9.1. All road legal plates are produced to DVLA and MOT standards.
9.2. It is your responsibility to fit the plates correctly and legally.
9.3. We are not responsible for fines, MOT failures, penalties, or legal action caused by incorrect fitting, misuse, unauthorised modifications, or the use of show plates on public roads.
9.4. If you choose a non legal plate style, you accept full responsibility for compliance and roadworthiness.

10. Warranty

10.1. Our plates are produced using high quality materials.
10.2. We provide a warranty against manufacturing defects, but not against damage caused by impacts, incorrect fitting, chemical cleaning products, pressure washing, or misuse.
10.3. Any warranty claim must include photographs of the plates and a description of the issue.

11. Accuracy of Information

11.1. We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, prices, and availability are accurate.
11.2. We cannot guarantee that the website will be free from errors.
11.3. If an error is discovered after an order is placed, we may contact you to correct it or cancel the order.

12. Customer Conduct

12.1. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to bypass security, or engage in fraudulent activity.
12.2. Any suspected fraud relating to registration numbers may be reported to the DVLA or relevant authorities.

13. Intellectual Property

13.1. All content on the website including text, images, logos, branding, and graphics is owned by Next Day Plates Ltd.
13.2. You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce any content without written consent.

14. Privacy and Data Protection

14.1. Your personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
14.2. We only collect the data required to process your order, verify your documents, and support customer service.

15. Limitation of Liability

15.1. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.
15.2. Our liability to you is limited to the value of the product purchased.

15.4. We are not responsible for delays caused by third party couriers.
15.5. We are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect information supplied by you.

16. Changes to Terms

16.2. Any changes will apply to new orders from the date of publication.

17. Governing Law
